My first family meeting!!!!!!!

Oh dear....

Im going to my first family meeting tomorrow night!
Not sure what to expect....
3 weeks ago myy mum had a lump removed and it was cancerous....then a week later my sister was diagnosed with lymphoma and has cancers in her lungs and throat...
My whole family is not coping with this at all...its weird cause nothing like this has ever happened before...especially as we are having a meeting...

They are blatently going to bring up my smoking....which will give me the chace to try and blag my way into letting me grow in my room...i hae before but they didnt like it and kept complaining but i can explain that i wont need to smoke tobacco if they let me grow!

Im not really looking forward to it....the thing that hurts me the most is seeing my parents cry...especially my dad who has had a very hard life for most of his life...so i know somthing is wrong if i see him crying and the other night he was in tears....he couldn't even talk he was so choked up (which i have never seen before in my life!) and i know for a fact that they are going to cry tomorrow night....

anyway im not really upset by whats going on (well its upsetting obviously but im trying not to let it get me down) after all its just abother part of life....
i just thought id kinda waffle on, i needed to get it out...:)

wow, sounds like your family is having some hard times... I can cope with your sister, I had Hodgkin's, which is a kind of lymphoma, though it is apparently easier to treat than non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It's gonna be tough time but with luck and optimism you'll get through. And remember, in some countries, doctors actually prescribe weed for people with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, so it can't be that bad for you, can it? :D

grim mate, stuff like that really dosent bare thinking about yet it is so common, although as we know more people are saved everyday from shit like that, so good luck.
if u dont mind me asking how old is your sister and did she smoke?
good luck with the plants aswell, aslong as u think its appropiate to ask, i mean the last thing you need is the old bill knocking round because they can smell green from outside...

yeah she has hodgkins....and i actually read that some people use medicated weed to help with chemo, i told my parents....they didnt really say much....lol

My sister is 32 and yeah she smoked (weed and ciggies) since she was about 15....not good signs for me and my smoking habits.....which is why i think if i say somthing along the lines of i wouldn't need to smoke tobacco if i smoked green.....i wont say it if its not really appropriate but ill try and squeeze it in when they bring up my smoking....
i could also re-mention that it will help my sis and id obviously keep her stocked up aswell....
