One big bit or several hits?

Lately Iâ??ve noticed that how high I get seems to have more to do with the size and quality of my first hit than it has to do with how much I smoke overall during that session. I mean I smoked a huge bowl all by myself taking regular hits and didnâ??t get as high as I got by just taking a really huge hit off a bowl, with probably 2-3 more hits left in the bowl still for later.

For me itâ??s hard for me not to smoke all the time when I have weed. So like when I want to get high, my natural reaction is to smoke more and more trying to get higher. But instead of going through like 4+ bowls a day, I could just take fat hits off like 1 or 2 bowls every few hours and maybe I would be just as high.

I know you all know what im talking about. Those times when you are sober and you take that first bong rip and it just goes straight to the brain and even if you stopped smoking right after that first hit, you would still be high as fuck. Why not just try to go for that affect every time instead of smoking large amounts?

oxygen deprivation? how long you hold a large hit? i dont know. but it depends how slow you smoke too. i mean if you smoke one bowl and it takes you an hour and a half well then yeah one huge rip is gonna get you more high. but if you smoke a bowl in 2 min and take one huge rip, logic says the one bowl is gonna do you better man. it could be just a psychological thing.

nah dude it only takes me like 2-3 minutes to smoke a bowl and thats with fairly small hits... heh.

Dunno maybe I should focus on something that can deliver the biggest slam dunk hit, like a huge bong or something.

I hold my hits in maybe like 15-20 seconds or so usually.

15-20 sec..overkill LOL...probably turns into ghost smoke..do you blow any out after holding in for that long? I hold in good smoke for not more than 5 sec...and thats plenty..and yes..I like big bong loads...just 1 every few hours is perfect...but everyone has their preferred way to blaze.

"Bong load" is a little ambiguous. Do you mean it to be a single rip? Or a bowl?

I can get higher off of just taking one huge ass hit instead of a couple small hits...and it seems like I'm the only person that does that because I'll be with some pepl, take 1 huge hit , get high as fuck, and then they will take like 10 hits each and say "dammit im not even high yet"

so yeah it seems like bigger hits get you higher but also dont last as long.....so just take like 1000 huge ass hits :)
