Etheridge: I Used Medicinal Marijuana

I thought some might find this interesting:


Melissa Etheridge says she smoked medicinal marijuana to help with the side effects of chemotherapy during her treatment for breast cancer.
The 44-year-old singer, who was diagnosed over a year ago, is now cancer-free.
"Instead of taking five or six of the prescriptions, I decided to go a natural route and smoke marijuana," Etheridge says in an interview to air Sunday on "Dateline NBC" (7 p.m. EDT).
When asked how her doctors reacted, Etheridge says, "Every single one was, `Oh, yeah. That's the best help for the effects of chemotherapy.'"
The singer said she smoked marijuana every day for her pain and symptoms and "the minute I didn't feel it, I stopped."

So many people do it, and so many people are for legalization. I don't know what is wrong, but I'm moving to canada if they don't fix it.

Dude, your moving to Canada for tolerated laws that allow you to smoke weed, you would actually leave the U.S. just to live in vancouver, cool to visit but not someplace I would want to live.

yah, if your gonna move for weed, you might as well go all out and move to amsterdam :X

weired, how so? the pot laws are lenient, probably gonna be legalized eventually. the education system is better, the society overall is much more blended and less full of bigroty/hatred/segregation... you know, all those things that make the world go round. I enjoy this country on a daily basis, guess I'm weired :D
