Democrats fear the Right
You're god damn right we do.
I fear the left & the right..I like to see more of a constitutional party. Our Gov't is criminal & it needs a overhaul(by anymeans necessary).
yeah, the left and right are basically the same...nothing actually changes administration to administration, what you hear about them does...which gets people back into their left/right camps...george bush is bill clinton on steroids, and clinton just continued what lord bush, sr. was doing...
these left and right congressmen or presidents don't have a beef with each other...they all want the same thing...most of them i should say, there are a handful of people in congress who are good...
Notes on the State of Virginia - 1784 - Thomas Jefferson
Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of a day. But a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers (administrations), too plainly proves a deliberate systematic plan of reducing us to slavery.
If GWB ever gets out of office and a democrat gets in I bet anything that the war goes on & the loyal democrats will be 4 the war & the loyal Republicans be against it<sarcasm>.. But its true they are one n the same, I cant really recall the episode from This cartoon called Futurama they were having elections and the 2 guys that where leading in the race where the same person but differ names, one was called John Jackson and the other was Jack Johnson that was funny as heck. Sometime truth come in comedy form.

fear for me, is the way i tell myself it is an important event that is happening, and to wake up and listen
wish it were so for others.
when you make them fearful, they get mean and or run
it is a weapon you don't want to use
it is better to get them to listen by saying something they can hear
if the truth is not listened to, it is still the truth
I could not agree more! Everyone seems to be so caught up in the ideals of either side, well what about the ideals that freakin matter-upholding the Constituion, the law of the land! The political parties do nothing but side-track and distract.Quote:

On another point, there is a division in this country, to a point where by the time new generations are able to vote, they've been so brainwashed by the media and the people to believe that there are only 2 choices in political affiliation. We are practically programmed to believe that even if our views fall somewhere in the middle, we need to pick a side because, no matter what, a middle of the road candidate (like, a libertarian) will not be elected. Not the case if enough people decide to think for themselves rather than blindly following the ideals of their party like a fucking religion.
And when people do pick the side that leans more towards their views, like with team spirit, they will root for their team no matter how many fouls it makes. Loyalty is a wonderful human characteristic, but it can be blinding to truths. And like when choosing a particular religion, you've almost guaranteed a narrower outlook on the world, with limited flexibility in thinking if you jump in with both feet like most people do. Not a very progressive move, imho.
I personally think the division of this country is deliberate move possibly influenced by the government with its ties to the media, etc, and I think we have been brainwashed for many years that the only choice we have is to divide and have an all or nothing attitude about the running of this country. Finding common ground is rarely encouraged, except with empty words by savvy politicians. And finding a common ground among the people is the only way this country will move in a positive direction. Politics isnt religion, but its being treated like it is, the church of Republicans vs. the church of Democrats, which religion is right when both are flawed? I dunno, but pick a side anyway and go with it!
How about "think for yourself, and vote in the candidate who thinks most like you do." Why lock yourself into one party and then waste your energy trying to rationalize why so-and-so should be president when they are clearly flawed and extreme in their ideas, all because you lost hope that another worthwhile candidate with progressive ideas could be elected? It really bugs me when people say "a vote for [libertarian candidate] is like a vote for so-and-so of the main parties" No its not. Its a vote for that candidate, and a vote that didnt go toward the 2 dimwits we are forced to believe are our only choices.
