What do you think the results would be if I grow plants (Sativa Dominant example. Haze/Durban Poison) under 12/12 photoperiod? I mean from seedling to finish. I think it would grow normally under this photoperiod because in the tropics that is the way the sun works. Has anyone tried this?

Might work but it would take a lot longer than 24/0 veg and then 12/12 flower.
it will work. of course it will work. the only thing is like Marc said, it will take longer. The plant will automatically flower.. and the size... will not be garuntee'd in anyway.
The whole point of vegging and then forcing a flowering stage is that you can control the size of plant that you want, especially indoors.

Marc and Bob; I thought it would take less time to finish, in the tropics crops are planted and harvested in 3months + or - 2weeks. Maybe my source is wrong.
Torog: Yes everyday in the tropics (the caribbean) to be specific, the sun shines for only 12hours, maybe a few minutes off during the months of may - sept, but it's always 12/12 there.
SOLUTION:
There's one way to find out for sure right? Well I'm goin to try it with the Haze Strain i bought from Nirvana. We'll see what happens, huh. :D
dude if you start at 12/ 12 you are gonna end up with about a 6" plant with a spliff on it thats if it will grow properly at all .

If you are getting specific seeds get them feminized, that way you can leave the lights on 24/0 till you decide to flower without chancing a hermi. :)
It will work..go for it, post and then everyone won't have to guess...
