Grow room questions
Hi all,
I'm planning on putting together a grow room in a cabinet/wardrobe I have. The dimensions are:
21'' deep
48'' across
54'' top to bottom - inside area
My plan is this - to either paint inside the cabinet or cover with dull-side-out aluminum foil. I have 2 3 foot 2-bulb fluorescent fixtures with cool white bulbs that will be suspended to allow me to have the light right on top of the plants, and raise as needed.
My questions are:
Does this amount of light seem sufficient, both for getting the plants to a good height and for growing decent bud? Will I really need to switch to a different type of lighting once in the flowering stage?
Of course, if my whole plan seems like a bad idea, let me know that too..

Grow room questions
Your light setup as proposed will work for seedling thru maybe 30 days of veg....
At 30 days a good grow will reach about 1 foot...1.5 feet....
They will triple in height during flower....so figure anywhere from 3' to 4.5' of space needed.....
You also need to factor in the height of the containers the plants are in...and the distance from the top to the bottom of the lights themselves.
Yes, you really should switch to HPS if you want maximum yeild and bud.....Floros produce thin bud for the most part and are just not the correct Kelvin for buddage to be maximized.
Can you do what you want?
Yes....by all means.
Can you do better?
Sure....
But for the first try, have your pic....then make adjustments for the next grow :)

don't use aluminum foil (no reflectivity) paint the inside white or use mylar.
