People may change how they smoke..
I have read from many members of this site that 90% of THC is absorbed in about 5 seconds after inhaling.. I just saw this on the cannabis.com homepage
"Daily Factoid: Donā??t hold your breath. The fat-soluble THC-9 is absorbed by the lungs almost instantly. Exhaling immediately after inhalation expels most of the carcinogenic compounds."
So now, this information may change your smoking habits, i know i hold hits in for about 5-10 secs.. but now might cut down on that time!

Yes, it absorbs into your bloodstream as soon as it enters your lungs. I smoke until I feel it entirely in my lungs, then blow it out. People hold it in, thinking it will make a stronger hit, when they're only allowing harsher chemicals to enter their bloodstream, through lungs. Stuff that's not as permeable as THC, the wonder-tetrahedron.

good thing my lungs won't allow me to hold it in for no longer than three seconds.
edit: well maybe that's a bad thing...eh, who cares?

I can smoke a quarter of a cig in one huge drag lol.. and hold it in as long as i like it doesn't hurt (only done it a few times, niccy rush is fucked, as i never smoke cigs lol)

Once you have it all in your lungs, a half second is sufficient. I smoke weed to make my high the most-efficient way possible and it allows me to stay stoned for 48 hours straight, without sleeping.
Remember, it's gonna take a second, or more, to blow it all back out.
