smokin' good times

well, i finally picked up an 1/8 of really good shit (over-fucking-paid as usual...but whatever)...smoked out and then headed downtown and saw some amazing music:

gorshfok or whatever they are...fucking heavy ass band with a trombone playing (trombone run through delay is cooooool...) frontman, lots of noise, pretty cool (good live act, not something id actually buy)

bellini...holy shit. insane guitar playing, dissonant but refined, just a BIG BIG sound...and the best part is the lead singer and guitarist look like somebody's parents. they were part of a pretty big band from italy...ukeze or something like that? sorry...bad memory

and the band i went to see...mono...from japan. sorta like mogwai and G!YBE...sort of...instrumental, symphonic rock...badass as always

took about 3 rips off a bong and was stoned up until mono started...it was a good night (except for my lead singer's now ex-girlfriend dragging my girl away to talk about all her friggin' drama...yeah...that sucked)
