first attempt at breeding

ive been growing 2years now and have never previously tried breeding my own strains.i kept one bigbud male and flowered it and i collected the pollen in a photofilm container. will the pollen be ok to use after about3months? and when abouts during flowering do i need to pollinate my females?(shiva shanti by sensi). also how would i go about pollinating them? any and all help wud be appreciated thanx. :confused:

Brush the pollen on to the buds/flowers with something like a paintbrush. For a fully seeded plant wait for the seeds to get ripe. This is when that plant is in fact dying.

does that mean that if i pollinate just one or two of the buds and harvest the whole plant together the seeds wont work?im planning to pollinate at about 3/4weeks. thanx for replying
