I want to wish all of you the best of luck during the next few days as this terrible storm blows over us. Stay safe and keep your family out of harm's way. I'll keep all of you in my prayers as we endure this together.
Take care my friends.

Ditto. Good luck!
I have this "Weatherbug" thing on my computer and as of 11:42 A.M. EST, New Orleans is receiving heavy-thunderstorms and the rain extends all the way to Cape Charles, LA. I guess, we're just not meant to live on the Louisiana Coast.
I have an uncle in Houston whose battened down the hatches and getting ready to ride it out. He was going to try and get out but the roads are so packed the choice was really between being in the house during the hurricane or being stuck in the car during the hurricane. Best of luck to him and everone else in Texas,
A couple hours ago, I heard that two levees are down. I need to be updated, time to turn on MS-NBC.
Lets not forget about the people in Louisiana. Rita will probably make landfall very close to the TX-Louisiana border.
the hurricane is gone now. it struck early this morning and there have been no reported casualties. it looks like people took this on a little more seriously. the eastern eyewall of the hurricane was along the lines of the lousiana/texas border. unfortunately, two oil refineries in beaumont and port arthur were destroyed, let's just hope the gas prices don't get even more ridiculous, otherwise we might not make it home. i appreciate your thoughts, and i'm sure that's what got me out of there. thanks again, people of cannabis.com.
