Cafe membership

So how do I know when bennet recieves my cheque for cafe membership?
I just get like a messege or a popup, or it just changes my status?
I like the status, its like saying "non-free loader" on your forehead.

how does it work? I mailed the cheque a couople days ago, and my cheque is as good as my soul, is it like a notification or a loggging thing or what?

If I become a cafe member can I change the words under my name to read "Moderator" even though my name won't be in bold somebody would be bound to get tricked into thinking it was real.
