i hate people who brag about who has the best weed the best hookup the best bong,whatever fuck it the point of smoking weed is that people that usually wouldnt chill together will chill becuase weed brings people together, and if you smoke to be better than everyone and "cool" then your smoking for the wrong reasons.

I agree. I've always smoked for purely personal reasons. Not to fit in, not to be cool, not to see who I can be better than.. I just use it to relax and enjoy myself.
I mean, who cares if you have the best deal, the biggest bong, the coolest dealer, whatever... it doesn't really matter in the big scheme of things. It's should be all about YOU, you know?

Good point. I think in most cases, everyone smokes the first couple times to be "cool", but after that, it's def about having a good time, relaxing, and connecting with ur friends on a level you normally wouldn't otherwise. For example, a college classmate I bought from one time, who I only kinda knew, offered to let me use his piece cuz I didn't have mine. Those are the kinda things that are truly "cool" when u think about it, ya know?Quote:

yea, but as with everything else some peolpe just have to turn it into a popularity and status contest 'oh you suck, you smoke lesser quality then what i smoke i'm better than you blah blah blah' i don't pick my bongs based on what other people would think, i pick the ones that catch my eyes (and my scorpion one cuz me and my dead brother had it once before and i wasn't going to let it slip past me agian) but yea, as far as i'm concerned it doesn't matter how fucked up the trasportation is, as long as it gets you there (i.e. i don't care how shitty the weed is, along as i have a good time and a good buzz)
Often times, that's how a person starts smoking. To be cool or to fit in. I started because I was curious. I knew both my brothers smoke, and I knew my parents used to smoke, so I knew i'de be ok. Like someone said above.
same here.. my parent smoke, and one day i decided to try it out. I robbed a spliff off them and ive done it ever since :)
