I bet they work, but youd prolly need a shitload of them if you had a big garden.
yum yum.. thanks for the link to that site.. i've browsed around and found what i'm going to get for my flowering
The Flowering CFL
I'll be using probably 3 or 4 of these in 2 months from now
Bob, I actually found the site cause I was looking for the bulbs you were using... Your garden is amazing... It is so SIMPLE!!!!!!!
If you use these bulbs, they will prolly be fine for the plants although I seriously doubt they will control the terpene production or even mask the smell of some good MJ...
But I wouldnt dare breath in the air surrounding them.
Unbeknownst to many of you, I am in possession of the title, "DOCTOR", if not for medical reasons, at least for educational reasons. :)
I possess a PhD in nutritional studies and this line description right here caught my attention...
"This combination of negative and positive creates a very strong oxidizer called the hydroxide radical. "
You are damn right that is a very strong oxidizer.
So strong that it is perhaps converted in the blood stream of humans to what is called "hydroxyl radical."
Despite what marketing efforts are made and claimed, there is a very large base of reference to indicate this is single handedly, next to the singlet oxygen radical, one of the most dangerous types of free radicals to be produced in the human body.
I wouldnt breath the air these things emit.
they are not harmful by themselves, but in the body, they convert and attack anti-oxidants so effeciently they deplete the body of the natural stores and defense and do indeed lay the foundation for the famous BIG C word.
These types of free radicals destroy cellular DNA more efficiently than anything other than the singlet oxygen radical does.
Mitochondrially speaking, some seriously bad shit :)
All of you looking for good CFL bulbs to flower with should really consider:

Lay a screen of two or three of these as canopy cover and then use those itsy bitsy lights you like to the sides and bottoms.
These provide the 2700K you need for flower without the side effects :)
Ozone generators use a fluorescent type bulb so this does not surprise me at all.
