New System New Questions

Hey Yall
iv just about finished creating a new EBB AND FLOW system and now i have questions about it
for my grow box i need to fill it with a medium so i decided to use hydrotron
but i ran out and so this is where the problem comes in

i used small stones for the rest of the medium so there is a huge difference from the small stones and the hydrotron becuase the small stones stick together like sand or mud

i wanna know if this is a good medium or should i go with pure hydrotron
the mixture is about 2/8 hydrotron and 6/8 small stones

dump the stones they will cause you problems later on. You should use either lava rock or the grow rocks only.
