Welcome To My Garden...
DAY 1 VEG,
Being my first grow, I expected some things to go wrong. I germinated until the seeds cracked, then transplanted to soil. Yesterday, day eight, I saw one sprout. All of the others seemed to be making no progress at all. After checking one of the seeds that hadn't popped, I noticed a faint stench coming from the seeds, so I smushed several in-between my fingers. It smelled like absolute shit. I'm going to take a wild guess and say I overwatered them.. I couldn't think of anything else that would cause rot this early on... Anyway, I have one survivor. I decided to name her Xena because of her ability to survive the shitty care care provided :o She's doing quite well so far, and has a nice little stem for her age... I am going to use my 80 watts in florescents for the early days of her veg, then move her under my 400 watt mh. Once I sex the plant (I hope I was lucky enough to save a female) I'll be cutting clones for my SOG attempt. Wish me luck! :)

Welcome To My Garden...
Sorry to hear about the low success rate.
Really, placing seeds in soil and letting mother nature handle things is highly successful :)
Good luck on the future of your baby.
BTW...the post said, WELCOME TO MY GARDEN.
Is this your garden?

Welcome To My Garden...
Ok, this is an official pic of my baby after her first day of 24/0. She's about 2 or so inches away from the lights, temps just below 80. I can see her first true leaves unfolding more and more by the hour :D And I must say Im really enjoying being a father. Got some decent mids today... Somehow I suspect it's old kindbud, anyway it pretty much does the job for me, so I went through my buds selecting the roundest, heartiest looking seeds and placed them in some wet paper towels in a saucer on top of the cable box. All of the tap-roots are already about 1/8 in. long. Going to transplant to pots tommorow morning so Xena can have some other kids to play with in the garden :) Anyway below are some pics... Everything seems to be going great so far, perfect temp, nice growth... I just hope I can keep it up :o I'll be updating you with pics once a week from here on out, so keep your eyes open!
Cheers :D
