I need to put my kif in a non-stick container..?

Well the thing is i grind my herb up with a coffee grinder and the kif collects A LOT and i want to scrape it out and collect it because i still have more buds to grind up.

It builds up a lot in coffe grinder so i wanna scrape it out for more room and then im done with my buds i will have a hugh collection of kif that i can turn into a ez form of hash(process where you heat the kif up enough for it to stick together). So i need to know what type of container i can put the kif in so i can easily dump it out when i neeed to use it.


BTW for those who dont know kif is the crystals/trichinomes(sp?) of the buds and they stick very easily to certain materials.

Well, when I lived in Morocco in 1969-70 they did not call the trichromes kif. They cut up the flowers and the bracts sort of separated. They cut this with black tobacco and called that mix "kif". I lived there until they made it and hashish illegal. They did it because it caused cancer (got to agree as they mixed it with tobacco so kif caused cancer).

Anyway, I am cleaning my grinder tonight and may film it. But here is how you do it. Go buy some really good alcohol. I know in the US you cant get that too easy, here in Europe we can get 96 percent. So you use the alcohol to clean and soak the unit. Collect the alcohol in a small saucepan with any residue that may come out. Put that sauce pan into another larger pan with about an inch boiling water in it. Use an electric hot plate at low temps, gas is open flame, a no no with alcohol. Let it sit and steam for a bit. Hour more, whatever you feel. Mix it. You are releasing the THC from the material. When you feel ready, try and let it set so the garbage goes to the bottom and siphon or pour the liquid into a flat like tea saucer, so when it dries there is a nice red/brown film that is hash oil. Enjoy it in any number of ways. I get a couple grams out of my cleanings and it is AMAZING. Scrape it off with a razor blade. Yummy

it is, i just cant do that at my home, i have parents to watch out for

whats a good non-kif-stick surface? Wood? any other suggestions?

Wood is ok, better stainless or one of the new teflon coated cases if you do not scrape. Damn, you would love the oil and it is easy, but parents can be a buzz kill. I used to cook up Hawaiian wood rose tea with my dad around, he could not believe we could get high on it. oh well.

Again, wood is ok, porus so it will absorb some resin, but after a while it will make no difference. Cant you wait til your parents go out?

I have a plastic hand grinder that was shitty and the teeth busted off and I store mine in that.
One tip, dont use a metal tool to scrape the trichomes out of your coffee grinder because itll lead to the deterioration of the metals once you pierce the lining. It happened to me and the metal oxidized and ruined a perfectly good coffee grinder. I use a nice wooden one now.
