Weed and Tolerance: What ARE the Facts?
I am a partaker of weed for many years.I recently picked it up again ,after an 8-9 year lay-off.I suffer with Chronic Pain and the crap I take for pain and stuff can make you feel depressed or bored, also it can cause nausea.I tried a few one-hitters,off the advice of my pal(also a CP,er after 3 failed back surgeries).Man,it was a high-grade sack,on top of not tokin in over 8 years....but I sure was not feeling them nasty other effects!
All went well, for the first month. Not long into the second month,I started fillin that one-hitter more and more, like it was taking more to feel right. The weed continued to be top-notch,but it felt like it was taking several hitters to get there. Is there any truth to tolerance building up like that?I don't seem to remember that happening all the years ago, when I smoked through a 25 years period.A mystery to me.Jack Saturn
Weed and Tolerance: What ARE the Facts?
I donā??t know about the facts, but I can only go based on my own experiences. Some people say that people canā??t build up a tolerance to weed, but I doubt many people experience the same effects every time they smoke as they did their first time. Iā??m sure that at least a big part of weed tolerance is in peopleā??s minds, but being that this is a drug that affects the mind, that isnā??t necessarily insignificant. I donā??t mind having a tolerance built up really. For me at least, once Iā??ve built up a tolerance, all the stuff like getting the munchies and red eyes go away.
