They use heat seeking equipment to scan rooftops for attick grow rooms of extra large amounts of heat loss .
Like say i,m guessing a bit so i would say they would be looking for 6 or more 1000 watt lights.
Much less than that could be from a poorly insulated attick.
Most police choppers are fitted with thermal imaging cameras which will clearly pick out a person just from their body heat. Needless to say any grow set up is visible so you would expect every grower to get busted. We don't. Make of that what you will.
police in the uk dont go flying around lookin for marijuana plants though the choppers would jus fly over thinking nothing of it!
First, it's called cannabis. Second, the prosecution kindly provided thermal images of my grow room when I got done two years ago. So I'd rethink that one D12.
the man hours spent trying to locate weed grow areas most of it coming out of the tax payer and im sure most of the time it would be some old geezer sitting in his shed to get away from the wife with his radio and paraffin heater on full blast reading playboy :)
I take it from that you've not seen a picture from a thermal imaging camera. They can see exactly what you're doing and might wonder why you had a parafin heater hanging on chains in mid air!
HvyFuel is right. We used them in the military. You can see a stream of piss at 2000 meters!
