hey man so heres the deal I can drop my hps as far as 1 foot from the pots, and still maintain temps around 78, will my plants do ok under these conditions? if not how much will i suffer in yield? i was aiming to get at least a little under an Oz. from each plant.. am i dreaming :confused:
I think that is an abosolute given.

A turd could grow a plant to produce an ounce with an HPS.
For many years, that was all the growers really had.
Your yeild will suffer but i dont think you'll have any problems reaching your own goals as stated.

Thanks man I'm sure I'll have enough bud to make me happy at harvest time, After all I'm the only one that is going to have the pleasure of enjoying my plants :)
