if by permed, you mean high, the actual high can last 1 hour-1000000 hours. it all depends on how much smoke. i usually do about a gram (like 2 or 3 bowls) and i'm high for 4 or 5 hours

Well if you shower within 24 hours, the perm may be ruined.
