Subject-Verb-Predicate - it's that simple.

:confused: Why are there so many people on here who can't write a coherent sentence? Do you have any idea how much of a challenge it is to try to decipher what the hell you people are trying to say when you so casually blow off rules of grammar? You're either sadly illiterate or just linguistically lazy and toss the burden of rearranging your mangled sentences into something that is vaguely understandable onto the reader. It's like trying to see through a dense fog. I know it's not a result of smoking pot because I love my cannabis as much as the next guy, but I can still think and write and read and communicate coherently. It's just damn sad to read these posts and realize that I've known third-graders who have a much better command of the English language than many of the people on here. You're giving pot smokers a bad rap. People point to stuff like this and say "See! It really does kill brain cells!" Methinks it more likely that it's the sorry state of public education that's killing off brain cells.

I know I'll probably piss off a lot of people with this post, and that's fine. If you feel it necessary to reply, please do. All I ask is that your responses be intelligible, even if you just want to tell me to fuck off.

Eventually you get used to it. As a linguistics major in college, I really have no excuse for bad spelling and grammar, and I always double-check my posts before I send them. But most people don't, and it's pointless to try to get everybody to type correctly. If I'm having a really hard time deciphering a post, I will skip right over it (or make fun of them if it's really horrendous).

It's a fucking "online message board" you piece of shit. If you don't like they way people use their language, whether in framgnets or not, leave it to yourself because I frankly don't give a shit if you dislike the way people, not necessarily under-educated than yourself, type out what's on their mind.

Usually if the post is as bad as you seem to be describing, I will kind of poke fun at it and post a little remark about it. Although it seems like you're really exagerating on how bad they are. Maybe you should search google for the English Majors forum, if grammar is in fact that important to you. We're not being graded on our posts, and most all of the time you get what the person is saying. Even if they have a wall of text which includes not ONE period at all, at the end you've made out what their point was.

i can usually always understand what everyone is talkin abt... p.s, cannabis effects people in different ways, where as it may not effect you in a negative way, when my mates are blazed, they are the laziest mother fuckers ive ever met
