Schultz Bloom Plus any good?
10-54-10 is what it is. Am in the 3 day of flowering and looking for something to use for this period of time till finish. Need to push things right along as I'm moving in a couple months and need these to be done or as close to it as possible. This town has very little in the way of growing ferts. Looked for Cactus fert like HD suggested but no such critter in this area. And I've been all over the place looking today and calling. Nuttin'! Not even anything to test for pH!!! Could not believe some store didn't have something.
What ya think?
THANKS!!

Marc, why don't you just order something decent? I can tell you where, or is there some other problem?
Schultz Bloom Plus any good?
Yes, you can use that fert and yes, it will work. But latewood is right, if you can, try to find something a little more, healthy.
We all have our own way of growing, so I will tell you mine. I suggest not using that fert quite yet. What you want to do is build up the plants tolerance for stronger, potent ferts. Giving your plant that fert so early in flowering is not good. It is too much at first, start with something lighter, build it up, then lastly, give it that bloom fert. I use 10-15-10, 2 weeks into flowering, then I use 15-30-15, then I use the 10-52-10 during the last 3 weeks of flowering. Building the plant up on ferts is the way to go. It builds a strong root system, and we all know a bigger root system, or stronger system=bigger, better buds. The buds pack on most of their weight during their last few weeks of growth. They swell up and get thick.
I try to avoid giving my plants a lot of food. I only give it to them when they need it(slight yellowing of the leaves) or if it is neccesary. Growing in soil you do not require a lot of food. I give my plants about 2-3 small feedings of food. That's all they need.
So I suggest this, if you don't have any ferts for flowering, get some. Get some 15-30-15, then use the 10-52-10. The bloom ferts is for the fianl stages of flowering. Giving it them now could burn them up. Give it to them during thelast 3-4 weeks of flowering.
Anyways, just a suggestion :) Good luck!
