After transplanting?

Hi, after transplanting the plant into a bigger pot are you supposed to water it?

I use a sprayer and lightly water the soil as I'm filling the container. Gives it a little moisture without soaking it and packing it down. Then don't water till the plant says, "WATER ME!"

haha, yeah ive litrally bin letting the soil go bone dry then watering it so far, but ive got a lil problem, the leafs are drooping down and curling up, ive had a few reasons why it could be so far, think its eigher overwatering or underwatering or PH or heat, but im using a envirolite, and you meant to be able to have them lkke 1-2 inches away from the tops of plant.

I read where if a plant is underwatered the stems droop and the leaves also. If it's overwatered just the leaves droop. Then they had some pics of examples and the one that was really dry the leaves were curling up not under. So that sort of sounds like what you might have as you said your leaves are curled up.

I have a plant that's got droopin' leaves big time. Curling under. Everyone says overwatering. I might agree, but as an experiment I took it out of it's room and put it out on the deck in all the humidity we're having along with direct sunlight (partly cloudy) and the leaves that were pointing down are sticking out like a blue veiner!! Still curled under a little but not as bad. So that almost suggests not enough light??? Got good cfl's over the top of them. Almost 200 watts. Who knows. Might just make it a deck plant and leave it outside to see what happens. It's all about experimentation.
