Boil Your Bowl in Liquor...Trust me.

Hey guys,
Boston is dry right now (As far as I know at least...Please please let me know if I am wrong!), and none of my three hookups have a thing, so I decided it was time to scrape my bowl (always my desperate last resort). I took some wire out of my tool kit, and got about 2 hits worth out of resin out of the stem of my glass piece. I was looking at it when I realized that there was a ton of resin sitting in the pipe that I couldn't scrape out. It physically pained me that all this resin was sitting there, and without smashing my bowl, I couldn't get at it. I decided it was time to do some cooking.
I have worked in restaurants my whole life... bussing, waiting, dishwashing, cooking, and most recently bartending (I am a 19 year old sophomore at Northeastern for the record). I decided it was time to put my skills in the kitchen to good use. I have read a little about green dragon, and pot vodka, and have been dying to try some, but since I have no weed decided I needed to get creative. I know boiling weed in alcohol and consuming it is a most excelent way to get high. Since I have no weed except the untouchable sweet resin in the back of my onehitter, I thought, why not take my metal, and my glass bowl, and just boil them in alcohol and make myself some green beverages.
It is certainly a bad idea to try boiling anything flammable without a double boiler (trust me, things explode more easily than you might think.), I have no double boiler (its a cooking pot with water, with a pot that goes inside it so that it's contents get heated evenly), so I made my own. I took a pot filled with water, a metal scrubbie pad, and a glass and went to work like this...
1. Fill the pot with water and turn heat on HIGH :D .
2. Put the scrubbie pad in center of pot and place glass on top of the scrubbie.
3. Fill glass with clear alcohol such as vodka or everclear (I used half vodka and half gin), and place your resin coated pipe/pipes in the glass.
4. Watch carefully until the water boils. The alcohol will boil soon after. Please don't leave this unattended, because if it boils over you need to turn down or turn off the heat, and you certainly want to make sure that you don't cause a fire.
5. Eventually when the alcohol is boiling you will be able to turn the heat down to extra low and the liquor will take on a greenish brown color.
6. When this happens turn the heat off and let the concotion cool until you can pick the glass up out of the water.
I let it boil for about a half hour total.
7. When you can pick up the glass, take a rubber band and attach a coffee filter to the top of another glass. Pour the bud infused alcohol through the filter into the other glass.
8. Mix desired amount of Green Dragon with mixer and ice, and drink. You should feel its effects within the hour.

I don't know if anyone has done this before. I smoked a little of the resin that I scraped out of the bowl, and had a couple gin and tonics, so I appologize for how much this has rambled. I am going to make a drink with the green dragon now, and will post about how it effects me in the next hour or so.

I'll Also post a couple of drink recipes using it that are really easy to follow. I don't know if its going to work, but I really think it will. Please post and let me know what you think. Thanks everyone...

By the way my bowls came out almost entirely clean...This would be a great way to clean your bowl before traveling, without wasting the goodness that's inside lol. I will let you guys know what I think in about a half hour or so.
