Posted in wrong room... And how do you expect to get a sprout from 1 seed? It's a dud man, GIVE UP :(
Definitely not supposed to be in the sun.
You just cooked the seed. It will not sprout now even if it was in optimal condition before you boiled it in a bag.
when sprouting it needs to breath ...and sun is bad, dark is good.
there are many methods , check the grow forum.
good luck.
Yeah gotta be dark like its underground!!
Mistakes friend.
First one is putting a seed in the sun. A seed requires NO light to sprout first off, and putting it in the sun is just frying and killing it.
This is what you do. Take a few layers of paper towel, put them on a small plate or saucer plate. Soak them, soak them good. Put the seed on top of the layers of paper towel. Next, take 1 more layer of paper towel, place it over top of the seed and other layers. Soak it again.
The key to getting a seed to sprout is to ALWAYS keep the paper towels moist. Don't ever let it dry out, that WILL kill the seed. Keep the towels moist always, but don't let there be any sitting water, just the paper towel nice and drenched. Put on top of your fridge, or even in a room at room temp, check on it every 12hrs or so and re-moist when needed. Again, NO sitting water. You should see a sprout within the next 24-72hrs. No light is needed, but germination/sprouting will go quicker if it is kept a little bit warmish. Not hot, not freezing cold, a happy medium.
Good luck.
I only posted it out ther ebecause I KNEW that it would take FOREVER to ge a response :p thanks guys especially nochowder.
man its not gonna sprout, ill just go fucking plant it
you want seeds to sprout the simplest way is to dig some soil from beside acreek and putit in a container cover seeds a quarter of an inch and water. I did mine this way and every time 1 out of 3 seeds come up the soil is great my plants are under a week old and already about three inches tall.
