Just how much cold can a plant take?

		high all,
Hope all is well and smokey today :D
I have a rasther simple question. As some of you may know, I had to move my Strawberry Cough outside due to its rapid growth rate and my height restrictions. I put her outside about 5 days after I transplanted her into a pot, then the weather here turned the shits. It is going down to 1degC these nights and is barely pushing 10degC during the days. So my question is. Just how cold is too cold? What is the coldest a plant can take?
-5C?
-10C?
I have a feeling within the next 5 weeks or so frost will be hitting. Frost is bound to kill it. Any help greatly appreciated...peace

im not sure on what exact temps an MJ plant can withand but i know its quite a long range...if it going to be like jus touching freezing then i think that the plants growth maybe stunted for a bit and as for frost...u seen how norm plants react to frost so im guessing that be a big no...i know u can buy thin sheets of polythene or sumthng that is used to wrap round young palm tress to protect them from frost...maybe that would work but i dunno

It will make it thru a slight frost, but I wouldn't freeze...chowder, I would move it back inside and tie it down here and there...do you know how they tie tomato plants? goodluck

i just read this long ass paper statin that in low light conditions green plants grow better with lower temps ( i don't know what the limits and all are, but seems i will have to experiment)
and it sounds like you need SCROG, or a lowryder hybrid
