We were conversing about growing some morning glories this year and my father pulls this out of his ass: "Don't eat the seeds though! They're poisoness; Yep. They actually make a poison out of morning glory seeds..."
Perhaps they do but not at the 1-300 dosage. =\

in fact some commercial bought morning glory seeds are poisonous. i think he may have been refering to this. some companies that sell morning glory seeds will purposefully poison them to prevent ingestion by kids. however, if they do this they MUST print it on the label in fairly large print, so if it does not mention the seeds being poisonous on the label then they are definently safe.
Vines make 3-4 flowers, each of which has how many seeds? Fuck if I know, 5,10,20? They're pretty big seeds (compared to poppies or whatever) Much simpler just to order on the net (cheaper than Wallyworld, and no risk of poisons)
Or harvest now that I have vines. When can I find seeds??
