big hole in my new chillum.. need some help

So I just got a new glass chillum and the hole is huge. The first couple times smoking out of it the last bit of weed would fall through unless you inhaled very, very lightly. Now, I know in time the resin will make it smaller, but I need a quick method of making this hole smaller for tonight.

I have this 20x Salvia extract I want to smoke, but it's really finely ground and there's no way it will stay in the bowl without falling through. Is there any method of making the hole smaller, plugging it up? Or maybe some sort of safe, household herb I can place in the bowl as some sort of screen? Any suggestions?

get some tobacco, or a roach paper something of that nature

Yeah I would use tobacco, but I'm not 18 yet, couple more months

if the whole is THAT big use a screen, it works. just becarfull putting it in glass and all.

Are those little screens in the faucet safe? No toxins or anything?

thats what ive been using for my homemade pipes and bongs, i think your supopsed to burn it all the way through with a lighter before you stick it in ur pipe to smoke cuz at first some shit gets released thats bad for you but after that it should be fine, ive been usin it and it works great, and ive got the same problem with my new pipe lol, the holes too big, its gettin smaller with resin but its pretty damn annoying suckin in cherried bud, number one its a waste, and number two it fuckin hurts!

when i have this problem (or if i only have shake left and don't have a screen) i just take a stem or two and lay it in an X patern over the whole....still lets shit through just fine but not enough for stuff to go flying in your mouth. and as for screens from water faucets....well let me put it this way...my house doesn't have any, anymore.

Just do what I do: take a screen you would normally put in a pipe, and jam it the bowl with a pen. That'll keep it from falling down the hole, makes it easy to reload and will lead to a nice, even resin-buildup that won't be disturbed by ash and scraping. Smoke enough this way, and you'll be able to scrape pure resin off like butter!!!!!
