letter to Zarqawi on bad leadership
IRBIL, Aug 7 (KUNA) -- The Multi-National Force on Sunday announced that it found a complaint letter directed to Al-Qaeda's leader in Iraq Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi regarding bad leadership in Mosul.
The MNF said in a press release that the Iraqi security forces arrested six insurgents in a raid on a hideout in Mosul and found the letter there.
It added that the insurgent Abu Zaid was complaining about bad leadership in Mosul, including the maltreatment of foreign fighters, deteriorating levels of command, repetitive types of attacks that focus on quantity, not quality, the lack of cooperation between the leaders, in addition to other complains.
The press release noted that other similar letters of complaint written by other leaders were also found.
During the past few months, the MNF arrested and killed a number of terrorist leaders in Mosul, some of them are close assistants of Al-Zarqawi.
Meanwhile, a joint MNF-Iraqi force arrested 34 suspects and seized quantities of weapons in several operations in northern Iraq.
In a separate press release, the force said that 25 suspects were arrested south of Qayara, five in western Mosul, and four others in the city of Rawa.
The force also seized a weapons' hideout in the eastern side of Mosul. (end) sbr.amm.
