Read everything Zandor, Harddon, and some of the other's on thise site have posted. It seems like they've read everything ever written regarding growing, then added personal experience.
It sure beats my first grow guide, which was in Abbie Hoffman's "Steal This Book". He had recommended pouring wine on your harvested pot and then burrying it for weeks to create mold. Cutting edge at the time, I guess...
9ski...
You can never trust a book written by an author who was on LSD most of the time :D
If there's ever been a thread asking who is the coolest person ever, Abbie Hoffman would probably be right up there with Arlo Guthrie...
Eh, nah, Shannon Elizabeth...
Don't forget it was not all his work he just published it. Most of it is so old school and outdated 40% of it has been proven wrong by modern science. The rest is so general even John Edwards can look like a pro.Quote:

Pressumably due to the mental illness that made him kill himself. I met Hoffman years ago when he was on trial with Amy (daughter of Jimmy) Carter, as they were standing trial for trespassing at UMass.
I was psyched to meet him...had my copy of his book ready to get signed...and he told me to fuck off. As a journalism student, it was sort of like having Mickey Mantle spit on you.
Me: "Hi, Abbie, I've read just about every article and speech you've ever written. Could you please sign this?"
Abbie: "Fuck off."
Like it was yesterday.
Oh, well.
