CAM:CAN YOU HELP ME OUT??

HEY. Cam, um, i just looked at your update of week 3, and you said you topped your plant to let it bush out....i was wondering a couple of things...could you please answer them, they are easy and simple...1)How long after they popped up out of the soil, did you top them? :confused: 2)how exactly did you do it? :confused: 3) how tall were they when you topped them? :confused: .......i want my plants to bush out like yours, so there is a lot of budsites!!!yummy! :D WELL THANK YOU AND I APPRECIATE IT!

Heyyy! Wow I have a thread... like... asking for me! Not HARDDON or Zandor... me :D boo yeah! Anyway! I'll asnwer the questions as best as I can:

1.) I topped them at 18 days (from germination to now, 21 days).
2.) All I did was cut off the main stem. At the top of the plant you will notice two steams break off (into a node) and rising out of the node is two more baby leaves ready to spread out. What I did was I went between the leaves and cut the very top of the main stem right off. so basicly, I took the top off my plant. I used steril scisors.
3.) They were on their 4th node up (4th set of branches). The plant was only a few centimeters taller than an average sized lighter, maybe 5 or 6 inches.

To get results like mine, make sure you have LOTS of light really close (if you are using compact fluro lights) and make sure a fan is on the plants at all times. What are your growing conditions? Gimme some info, and I will help you out as much as possible! The more light, the tighter the nodes are together. Once you top the plant, keep it in veg and allow some time for the lower branches to grow out and new branches to begin growing. Best of luck! Get back to me on the info...

um....let me think....ok i thoughted! :) ...my growing conditions: I am currently growing my plant indoors at about 77 deg. I grow it in a semi large pot under two flo lights ( aprox. 5 ft long each) and i also have one foot and a half flo light with the same wattage bulb. I water it every three days and i am currently using miracle grow food sticks...... hardon and zandor both told me that these would be good because the nut levels are 6-12-6....... I am currently flowering my plant and i am into the second week of flowering and my plant is about one and a half feet tall...... :)

i dont get number 2....could you please explain to me more???? when the plant is about 6 inches tall....i cut off the main stem off the plant at the top and it will grow another main stem???im confused....sorry! please continue to help me figure this out...will you please just explain a little bit better???if not thats cool....thanks for the help and i appreciate it! :)

I like to top mine.
some Ill just Tip Once some I'll do 4 times...(wait till the seedling is atleast 3 sets of leavs high before you top it.).
I do Outdoor..:D.
I also Tie down and snap.
The theory behind Tying down is the Main stems get equil amounts of sunlight along the lenght of the Main stems.(wich produces more bud).
instead of just the Tops getting the Main Impact of the light the whole plant system gets the light More evenly...
(an old rose grower taught me that trick on my 5th grow.)..and i have never looked back.
stressing is a whole nother story that Im Going to Make a thread on when I get round to it..
