Hey guys whats up.
After seeing all the great turnouts of people on this site, I have decided that I am going to start growing outdoors. If i can get a seed, Ive heard that I need to germinate it, is this necessary. also is it as easy as it seems, Just plant it outside and water it a little and wait for it to grow. I just wanna try to grow to see if I get any results. It would be great if I could get some feedback, thanks alot.
It is indeed nessisary to germinate the seed first- the method you use though, is up to you. I would prefer to germinate in a paper towel and some warm water over night- once you see the seed has sprouted, you know it can further more grow. Its unfortunatly going to be alot more work than you expect. You have to make sure the plant will go unnoticed. Also, where is your location? What are the light cycles right now? If you have long days (light) and short nights (less dark) then you can go ahead and grow outide. Other wise, its probably slowing down and the days are getting shorter already- meaning it may be too late for you to grow outside. Give us some specifics and we'll get back to you. But its going to take mor ethan watering. It will need fertilizers (can't be too strong), it need to be kept away from bugs, animals, and well... I'm sure other people have better advice :)
It's not as easy as it seems..be very carful what ferts and insectisides you give it.Make sure there is very good drainage or even a regular dose of pestiside or nutes can fry your crop...this happebed to a northern lights I had outside and this is a easy strain to grow...

Welcome jkg114 I would advise reading the growfaqs here and at Overgrow.com before you did anything.
If you read 1st, chances are you will be successful(at least to the point of completing a grow). Most people that I see fail on this site, jump into growing and when something is wrong, it is too late...Read first; ask questions later...trust me all the info is already out there...latewood
