First, I throw the desired amount of bud in my 'mull bowl' (like a soup bowl). Then I use a small pair of scissors to chop it up. I try not to chop it up to fine because I find it burns to quickly. Then I toss it in and toke away!
Thats how I've always done it but I've known some people to just ram whole buds in their pipe... or just break a bud into smaller pieces of bud and ram those in.

same as u, just chop it up in a bowl not too finally then smoke in homemade bong. i dont know what the deal is with those guys that shove whole buds in
personally i love my bowls. I start out my sprinkling a 1/4 of the bowl with finely crushed hash. Then if it it a special occation, i add one or two of my old resin clogged screens that have been roleld into little balls. After that i add a couple buds and a seed or two (ive always enjoyed seeds personally, the way they glow and pop and i dont' care if you all hate em!!!!!) and then i finish with some more hash on top.
so i guess i do it like i am making a cake or something.

Speaking of poping and exploding seeds... has anyone ever seen a seed blow out the side of a joint? One time I was chilling at my dealers with about 5 people passing around this huge spliff when suddenly I see this shower of spark and flame cover some poor guy! Ah man it completely knocked the cherry off the Jay and had this guy stop, dropping, and rolling. Ah fuck I hate seeds! :D
yea i seen seeds explode like dynamite outa the bowl and jay lol becareful they should put a warning on bag "may be explosive". lol
I usualy stuff a fat bowl in there, or if the bud is really big break it in half. feed the stem if one to the dog. I've never chopped my weed up and smoked it, or know anyone in person that does it. Only time is for joints.
Shiiit! I'm so baked off ONE nice hit off my pipe! This 'dro I just got is the bomb! I love Australian weed its so much better, on average and price, than American Mid-West stuff.
I just get a big bud and break a bit off, big enough to fill the pipe, this may be broken up into 3 or 4 pieces if i feel like it, but if that happens i use my hands so it compresses the bud (can't be bothered to use scissors) so usually it's just a piece of bud big enough to fill the pipe
