Plants look good. brown is not normal but the water in your res looks brown is that the color of your nutes ? It maybe your answer but the plant looks healthy.
that's what I was saying in the other thread...when I used AN 3-part + superthrive,
my roots were kinda like what i see in your pix...when I switched to Liquid Karma, they lightened up a little...so it could be the color of your organic additives...imho
I am useing GH three part + diamond nector and camag plus. Thanks. I think your both right it must be the mix thank you>
those roots on the right don't look good at all. Sometimes roots wil turn a tint of the color of the nuts you are using.. but those roots look BAD.. Feel them.. do they fall apart in your hand.. or feel slimy? if so they are dead...
here is the bigger problem... if dead root matter gets into your resivoir it will start consuming o2... and the problem of dying roots will grow FAST.. very fast.. it is vital that your water is filled with accessible o2.....
you should add Hydrogen Peroxide and airstones ASAP... you should also make sure NO light is hitting the water... of the res. clean out your water with a fish net extracting all dead plant matter. ... try not to expose your roots to light,,,
I hope I am wrong... your plants are to young to be showing these signs... if I am right, it will be a long race to the finish line...
please keep us posted and
GOOD Luck.. : )
ps - you should get Zandor to look at this asap....
They don't look very healthy, but how do the plant's look?
Do they smell or like GK said are they slimy?
When was the last time you changed your nutrients and cleaned the water tank?
Like GK said add H²O² Hydrogen peroxide about 5ml to the gallon.
Are you still using SuperThrive in your nutrients?
no superthrive and just change nutes on saturday afteernoon...the plants look real healthy but showing nute burn on one plant on two of the3 leaves....other than that look great
useing Gh micro bloom calmag plus and diamond nector...Here is the amounts
3 mils per gallon micro/1 mil per gallon gro/3 mil per gallon bloom/20 muil per gallon diamond nector/1 tsp per gallon calmag plus.....pH is between 5.2 and 5.8 and added no pH down or up seems to be holding good. just fluctuating a couple points in a day I changed nuts after 10 days now going to change on saturday wich will be 7... not going to raise nute strength tho for one more week,,,then going to go with 3 micro/ no gro/ three bloom/ tsp calmag plus / 20 mil diamond nector...I think adding gro + micro is overkill with nitrogen....
I am going to take ppm reading after micro and bloom is added...cause thats what counts right ....lol :)))
