Woke up to my pregnant pomeranian Candy doing circles on my bed this morning. Yesterday her temp dropped to 98 degrees so she is supposed to have them within 24 hrs of that. I purchased a blow up kiddie pool for her to have her puppies in. She started leaking fluid like 2 hrs ago............I have a feeling this is going to be a LONG day!
Time to smoke a doobie. and WAIT!
Anyone know how long a toy type dogs labor usually takes? Thank God she's just having 2 pups!
Ohhhh! I want puppy pics!
If this is her first....could take a long time, and it can even be a day between pups.

Right now she's in her pool on wee wee pads scrathching the floor and licking herself. The bottom of the pool is all wet with fluids. I hope my stomache is up for this!
Man this is torture! The first puppy has been crowning now for over an hour. If something doesn't give by 4pm I'm taking her for a c-section!
well if the first pup is crowning they will not do a section. I hope she does not need any help, just stay calm, firt time my dog had pups I freaked (and I have 2 kids) lol
Update!!
Well she had the first one at about 3:45. I helped rip open the sac and I tied off the umbilical cord and cut it. Puppy started breathing right away. This one looks white, may turn more orange as the Dad is an orange sable and the mom is a parti pop (black and white). About an hour later out of no where the other one came out. This one appeared gray or black and was a female. Poor little thing never even got to take a breath :( The Mom licked it and then when it didn't move, she went back to the first one. So I took it in a towel and tried sucking out the mucus, then I tried giving doggie cpr to no avail.
Well at least my bitch is still in good shape and I have one healthy puppy. Sucks the other one died but I guess it's pretty common especially in first litters.
How about some name suggestions? Mom is Candy, the Dad is Peanut. I was thinking "Butter" or a stoner name lol.
Well is the puppy that lived a boy or a girl...kinda never said? lol cuz if its a girl i say.... sugar lol :D
Don't have any name suggestions, but i'm glad on of them lived. Sad that one died after your efforts, but at least it went peacefully and not painfully
oops sorry....it's a widdle boy! He looks like he is going to be mostly off white.
I have some kewl pics to show once I get them developed (yeah regular camera.I'm so behind the times!)
