Problems with the lightbulb vapourizer

ok so i make one exactly how this site says and i read somewhere on here that you shouldnt put the lighter right on the bulb cause it releases bad elements into the chamber, so anyways im sittin there holdin the lighter under it for like 5 minutes and still no vapour i try to take a hit and all there is is this nasty bitter taste. ive hit a real vape and it tasted awesome and i got so blazed, when i tried this it tasted like shit and i didnt get baked at all does anyone know what im doing wrong?

uhh did u clean all the powder out (if u had a white bulb) i dunno mine worked fine :-p
