*what and where is a node on a plant?*
can some please tell me and/or post a pic to show me where a node is? i keep reading about them in high times (either aug. issue or july issue) on how to see "the sex in the growroom".....i cant see them, i need a better explantion and a pcture to look at.....CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME? :confused: :)

The node is the location where the plant grows a leaf.
Each set of leaves, at the base where they meet the main stem, are nodes. It is from these 'nodes' that the secondary grow shoots emerge and turn into flowers at the flower time.
As the plant matures, the set of leaves will give way to only one leaf per node...this is known as alternating nodes, and hence the proof your plant has matured.
