Drying problem
Well it is winter here & i croped my plants a few weeks ago now maybe a little longer. The problem is it is very cold and rainy here and i noticed a little bit of mould on a bud that was hanging up, have had a fan on it here and there as well.
I got worried as u can imagen(never had a mould prob while drying)so i got all my gear put it in zip bags and put it in the freezer.
Is this a good idea?
Will it effect my stuff?
the buds are still on the stems and were not quite as dry as i would like.
I have never frozen my gear before.

Drying problem
I would find another place to hang em' up.
Somewhere that is less humid.
If you had a fan on and it still got moldy there in a room that is waaaaaaaay too humid!!!
Your crop may depend on this if it's not dry enough.
I can't see how freezing would help...would'nt that just freeze whatever water is still left in the bud.I don't know about that?

Drying problem
Hey man better get that shit outta the freezer....it wont stop the mold.
You need to determine if it is bud or crop isolated....
If it is only on one bud, get it away from the others....if its the whole damn batch...you need to dry that shit now.
Mold will make your weed utterly potentless.
It will suck the stone out of a joint.
Mold travels by spores and wind / contact is how it catches rides.
So...if I were you....
Seperate the buds....no more cross contamination. (though it may be too late)
If you can get a dehumidifier, by all means..... about $100.00 for a good one...and problem solved like zandor says....
Cut off and remove the mold and the mold spot on the weed....and trash it.
Keep yourself clean and wash your hands after handling the mold...
At this point, i would place each little bud in s separate paper bag rolled just enuff to close the opening.
Spray a little listerine....just a little.....enough to glisten the bud but not to runoff....then re-paper bag.
Put them in a closet or somewhere vey very dry with little air movement.
Do not try to heat the air artificially as this will just make the mold spring to life faster.
Open the bag and turn the bud over several times a day.....carefully washing your hands between the handling of each bud.
The listerine will work magic for you.
It must be listerine...none of the other brands that contain sugars. This will kill the mold on contact.
Good Luck bro....let us know how it works.

Drying problem
Take those buds out of the freezer man! What's going to happen is those buds are going to freeze, then once you take them back out for drying, they are going to be like soggy lettuce, increasing mold even more. Get a dehumidifier, or find some place that is a drier environment.

The key to curing is a slow drying process so no heater.
