whats the difference from indica and sativa? whats the distinct features of both of them?
Indica: Lazy, laid back, "couch-lock" high.
Sativa: Energized, happy, heady high.
Basically, Indica is better for when you're just chilling at home, on the couch, or when you want to sleep.
Sativa is good for parties or going out with friends.
cool..didnt know that~
Sativa is basically hemp, but a different strain and with small amounts of THC and is all loose and stringy and isnt a very nice smoke. Indica is more of strong high as the result of decades of modifying growing techniques. Indica is more superior in potency as most Indica strains are deliberately chosen by growers over sativa. As sativa takes months and months to grow and grows to be a biger size with a result of low potency, stringy, taste like shit bud. Indica takes nowhere near that time and the plant is shorter and more firmer buds with high potency.
Durban Poison is a Sativa and it has a huge yield and the smoke will knock you on your ass. Not all Sativa's are shitty, stringy, and useless. The early Sativa's are not bad if you ask me. Indica's are good, they are less trippy and more like a narcotic or something. Indica's grow quickly and they are very bushy and dense and the buds are very big and full. Sativa's grow quickly sometimes depending on the strain but for the most part they are a slow growing plant. And Indica will finish months before a Sativa usually. There are the odd exceptions. (fast growing Sativa's) So basically if you want something to grow outdoors up north in Canada or Poland or New York State or somewhere northern, choose an Indica over a Sativa unless it is an early finishing type of Sativa. If you are up in northern Saskatchewan or northern British Columbia near the Yukon and Alaska borders, pick a fast finishing indica like a Low Ryder cross or Low Ryder, or something similar. Good luck with your grows everyone :D
