please help me out here if ya can......

well i bought a grow light i guess you could call it that im not really sure what it is now ill tell you what i bought it said on the box plant and aqarium light now the light glows off like a kinda purple tint now i got pics og it im putting with this thread now is that the right color and i bought a extra bulb well i was there that said natural sun light now could that be the right one and last thing ive had my plant in the room now for 4 days on those 2 lights and i turn it on when i go to work at 530 in the morning and then i turn it off at 530 at night and so on....

so does my plant still look heathy and if im not using the rihgt light can sombody give me a place i could drive to like you know a known store where they would have grom lights cause i want to go pick one up tommorow instead of waiting for it to get sent reason switched to indoor growing is cause it was getting to big for out side......well thank you in advance for you 2 sence

The plant looks fine. The larger fan leaves mean you may have a temperature problem. Like temperatures about 83f for extended periods. Try adding a few cool white shop lights from HD or Wal-Mart with your grow light. The more lumens you can use the better. IF money is tight look for the Lights of America FluoreX security light. Its 65w of FluoreX they claim equals 500w of light. What I do know is for 40 bucks they work just fine and better then just a few regular fluorescent lights.

yeah i agree i been using a couple fluoreX 65w with good results,its in the outdoor
flood light section at HD.they do put off some heat without having a fan blowing on them.that grow light you bought is 2700k looks like n is more for
flowering but itll work ,look on the box for the color temp.you want 5500k,6400k or 6500k for veg n 2700k for flowering (if not using a hps)

You could even try 2 100w lights and just re-wire them over top of your plant, thats what I did with my 200hps light. There was no plugin with my light =[ I had to take the wires and split them to connect it to the light bulb wires. Boy oh boy my laundry room is a mess... Not just from the wires but my god damn clothes -.-

sweet man thanks no wonder the purpleish light wasnt working and when i had the sunlight bulb hooked up it seemed as if the plant was growing toward it so ok ill use that one for now then ill go to hd tommorow and buy some of those lights that you wee telling me..................tahnk you for helping my plant from not dieing............free weed for all when shes a done a growin....lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Tokeup420 you were subjecting your plant to 12 and 12 when it was supposed to be at least 18 and 6. This is the difference between vegitative and flowering lighting.
