dont use copper it is no good brass is ok and steel is ok but copper is not a smoker friendly metal
as long as it doesn't get dirrect flame or too hot then it will be fine.....but when burned (and mabye when exposed to extreme heat) it produces a very toxic vapor/smoke ......not sure what it does exactly but i do know it's extremely harmful. so if it's just the stem and isn't gettting too hot it will be ok, but it would be more wise to get something else...but if you're in a pinch then it should be fine
yea the problem is i can't find any steel pipes...
copper?? one word... actually it might be two.... more like a compound word :-D
LOCKJAW!
dude just go through your local lowes or home depot .....there is everything you need to build a pipe all the way up to a 50 foot bong in there....you might also want to do search on annodized <sp?> materials..i'm not sure what it means but i know it makes even aluminum safe to smoke out of...and i know it comes out looking all shiny....just don't get anything that appears to be copper (brass is safe to use but some can't tell it apart from copper) or any metal that seems to be extremely light (aluminum....) you could walk through the store building your bong as you go (of course not assembling any of it but matching up all the peices to make sure it will work as you see fit) btw this is a really cheap and legal way for someone under 18 to get a bong that not only looks decent (if done right and you take the time and pride in it) but hits like a son-uva-bitchQuote:
