If Christians can use their faith as a political argument, non-Christians can just as easily turn the tables and use that very same argument against them. It's something I've done countless times.
When I ask someone of faith to pick out which creation story in Genesis they believe out of the seven, that's me saying Christianity is bullshit. When I ask them about the tenents stated in Leviticus as an argument against a literal interpretation of the Bible and using faith to justify prejudice against gays, that's me saying Christianity is bullshit.
The difference between me and Nicholas is that I don't come right out and say "Christianity is bullshit" because I think it's a crass statement, but not an untrue one.
Seems to me the only thing Nicholas is guilty of is having the temerity to take on a thin-skinned moderator. And it's totally ridiculous that he should be "repentant" of that, as has been suggested.
