Which light?

Hello all. I have a plant that I have been keeping on my balcony (i live in an apartment) and i have recently realized that i need to relocate it because anyone and everyone can see it from outside. Thus, my only option is to bring the plant inside. What is the best kind of light to use on my plant? Do i need just one? Also, how much light should my plant be given? (You'll probably want to see a picture for that question, so ill put one on later 2nite)
