1st Grow - Almost Complete - Bonzi Bud?

I've been growing my first plant for exactly 90 days now (68 days into flowering). It's the smallest thing you've ever seen, but it's mine - all mine (evil laugh)... I would say the term would be Bonzi Bud if you wanted to apply something to it.

Ok here's the breakdown. Almost zero cash, and I needed a grow area that was descrete and movable. The was due to both the lack of space in my house, and that if the plant got too smelly I might have to move it from where it was. Also, we have people around all the time, and I didn't want anyone finding out about it.

I had one decent seed from a bag of weed I bought (it looked a peach so I decided to keep it), and that's about it. I managed to raise the cash for 1 x 125w Red Envirolight off ebay (about £40), a small bag of Morrisons (supermarket) homebrand compost - with perlight (£1), 1 x cooks thermometer (£1) again from Morrisons, and an old computer box that I gutted and sealed to make my case (£0). I was going to have a fan in it, but haven't got around to that yet (know I should though, and will for the next grow). I've managed to find some small solar power cells (£10 each) on the internet & am looking to find the right fan that will work with them (so I get the fan for free when the lights come on). Total grow area inside the box is: 10" W x 23" H x 6" D with the light in place. Now do you see what I'm saying about Bonzi.

Seed done in the usual way with some damp paper towels, a saucer, and time. Placed on the top of the fridge for heat, covered for darkness.

Lights on 24/0 for the first 3 days while the seed breaks through.

Lights turned to 18/6 after that (as saves energy, and because the plant is going to be so small I need to mature it as much as possible while it is smaller).

Day 3: 1 st main leaves developing.
Day 5: 2nd set now on the way.
Day 7: 3rd set now on way.
Day 11: Plant pruned - oh yes.
Day 13: 2 new heads developing.
Day 19: Total of 5 heads. Plant height 5-6"
Day 20: Lights turned 12/12 - you've got to be kidding.
Day 30: Definately female - Big smile on face.
Day 39: Plant almost dies through lack of water. Still certain that I watered it, but...
Day 41: Plant revived as much as it will be. Watered, and cried over for 3 days.
Day 45: Buds really showing on plant for a while now. Slightly smelling.
Day 53: Crystals on most of the buds.
Day 69: Buds really swelling. Most of the leaves have turned yellow brown. Three things: Pot too small, light to close & nearly killed it a couple of weeks ago.
Day 77: Plant smelling now, but only when lights on.
Day 90: Plant cut down. Going to dry out.

That's today (Day 90). I'll fill the rest out as it happens.

Sorry about the pics, but only got my crappy camera phone to take them with, and I have to convert them before putting on here as they're too big a format. Any questions, or comments welcome. If you have to ask why I did it, ask yourself - why not? If I had a field I'd grow it in that, you've just gotta make the best of what you've got.

Looks very nice !

Back again for an update. 3 Pics this time.

1st Hanging Buds.
2nd Buds In Bottle.
3rd Buds drying out.

Into drying about 5 days now. Beginning to think I may have picked it a little too soon as the buds smell really sweet, and not like the smell I'm used to. As this was grown from bag seed though I don't know how it should smell, but I know enough from smoking that I'd think twice about buying this.

Total weight of smokable gear (if at all), a whopping 11 grams :)

Glad I'm not doing it to be profitable or because I've not got a dealer, but all an adventure. Next update will be when I actually smoke the stuff, so in a few weeks at least. I'll still be looking in though if there's any questions.
