quick ?

i found some seeds in my dads old stash n i dont know how old they are....does it matter how old they are as long as there not cracked?? n do they need heat to start sprouting if i have them in a wet paper towell???? o n will a heat lamp for a lizard work for the light for indoor growing??? any help will work thanx :p

just put them in a dark place in the towel. i put mine under the bottom drawer of my dresser
