GERMANTOWN, Wis. - A 22-year-old man was wrestled to the ground in the Germantown Police Department Friday afternoon after threatening a dispatcher with a glass bong and a shotgun, police said.

The man walked into the department and handed a threatening note to the dispatcher at a her window around 5 p.m., police said.

As she read the note, he threw a glass bong at the bulletproof glass, police said. The bong shattered, but the window did not. He then pulled out a shotgun, but three officers using a taser and pepper spray were able to subdue him, police said.

"He did have his finger on the trigger but they were able to control him," said Germantown Police Chief Peter Hoell.

The man had been arrested several times in the past on burglary, disorderly conduct and drug charges, but the motive for Friday's attack was unclear, Hoell said.

...it's idiots like that that make the rest of us seem bad ...that shit pissed me off so bad when i read it...that only confirms the first lie of weed handed down for generations by the govt.: that weed turns you into a violent person....

any one with half a brain knows that a person with a bong in one hand and a lighter in the other has no avalable hand to hold a shotgun the media can put all the spin on these story's they want but as time goes by more and more people are learning the truth. there are good pot smokers and bad pot smokers just like there are good cops [patrolmen /murder detectives ect.] and there are truly evil treachorous sick minded cops [narcotics officers/dea agents] people know that this guy couldve just as easily thrown a beer bottle or a burrito. in all the yrs ive been a stoner ive never seen some one smoke a joint grab a bong and gun and decide to pay a visit to the local cop shop.. one more thought i wonder what this guys blood alcohol content was and why wasnt it mentioned

maybe his weed was laced with PCP instead of beer .....or he could have been on alot of xanax that makes some people really furious for no good goddamned reason and i know this from experience....still my favorite pill tho
