has anyone rooted a clone in just water? is it possible? i have no rooting agent but i want to start this clone....does anyone got some knowlege to kick my way on this subject???any cloners out there i would appreciate your feedback!

Yes, this is a viable method, however it is a very slow method. Usually, anyway.
As long as you cut the clone properly and treat it as you would otherwise it will work.
I would suggest the addition of an airstone and a fishtank air pump if you can. This will keep you from having to change the water, through the addition of oxygen into the water. Otherwise you will want to change the water every couple of days.
I would also use an opaque container to help keep light out of the interior of the jar. Light can cause the development of algae, which may keep your clone from rooting.
