Smoking Wild Dagga

Im growing Wild Dagga and was wondering if anyone here ever smoked Wild Dagga? did it get you high? what were the efects?

i guess no one has ever smoked it

dude, i've smoked prepackaged shit

and it was sweet beyond belief

but i don't know what part of the plant you are use, or how you harvest it or when

i know you use the flowers

Hey Rastabill, where do you live... and are your plants already growing, or are you thinking about starting growing? I have tried Dagga before, and although i've heard mixed reviews on it, i enjoyed it. It's much better to mix a pinch of MJ and a pinch of Dagga though. That's good you know to use the petals, the rest is just shit, it'll make you cough and its pretty much useless. I made the mistake of buying a package of foliage, so we had to dig through it and pick the petals out, the rest we threw away.

When your plants grow, pick the petals and dry them and store them in a glass jar out of sunlight... just put it in your closet or something. I'm not sure how generous you are, but i'd definetely like to experiment with Wild Dagga more, so maybe you could hook me up? Do you use AOL? You can get it just about anywhere... a lot of people grow it as a garden plant because it looks cool. The websites that offer it call it a "Marijuana Alternative", but its not really. It makes you feel happy and uplifted, but it makes me salivate like a bitch. Alone, i did it before i went golfing cause it made it more fun, but i think its better to mix it with MJ. The websites are kinda a ripoff, they sell 1/4 for like 20 bucks... just make sure you get the Petals of the plant, not the foilage.

Is it a plant, and is it actually called Wild Dagga?

If you mix it with marijuana, how is the feeling different from just using marijuana?

It's called Leonurus Leonotis i believe... or Leonotis Leonurus. Definetely search for it on www.erowid.org it has a lot of information. It's just a regular plant, i'm sure you can buy it from some gardening stores and stuff, depending on where you live. i've only used it 3 times. The first time we used the foilage and i almost puked, it was fuckin disgusting. Then i read that the petals are what you need to use, so we smoked some of that and it was great. If you're looking to get fucked up or trip balls or anything, then this is not for you! I tried the petals when i got home from school and i usually feel shitty and drained after school because i hate it, but it made me feel happy... i guess the one word everyone uses to describe it is Euphoria, and i agree. It's just a state of happiness really. The third time i smoked a big joint of MJ with a mix of the Wild Dagga petals and it was very enjoyable... i smoked a lot, which usually gives me a heavy stoned feeling, but the dagge kinda offsets it and made it... idk how to explain it... it was a lighter feeling and made the whole experience more enjoyable.

I really like Dagga no matter what reviews you hear on it... but the online vendors are really expensive for some measly, legal petals that don't necessarily do all that much for the price tag. I'm thinking about growing it because i would love to use this plant all the time, and try to make some resins out of it, but i haven't gotten my hands on any in a long time because i dont' want to pay the online shops such a steep price for it.
