Just made this for a friend, just curious for some feedback. My first time making a piece. Tried to show the carvings as best I could.

Ya that's really nice! I like it. What is it made out of? Looks like bamboo or something

That's a very nice piece! I've always wanted to hit out of a wooden piece before, never been able to.

How'd you make that, btw?

Thanks. Made it out of bamboo. I did the carvings by hand with a little electric craft tool.

Ya I know it is cleaner with glass, but I have no way to do that so I went for plan "b." :)

If I had a glass studio or access to one I would go nuts. :)

Looks good. :) I like wooden pipes, my husband carved a nice one out of a piece of rosewood a few yrs back. We still use it occasionally.

Thats really cool. I like the zodiac idea.
