A couple of questions from da new guy

First off, i wanna say whats up 2 everybody, this being my first post and everything. ok i have a serious situation going on. and i would appreciate some sound advice. ive been growing serious going on 3 months. im just now really educating myself on lights. I have been running a 20w 24" natural sunshing FLou. and its good but i just recently stumbled onto a 150w Hps med light. i know how good they are but how do i arrange the light into my setup right now? im using a corner in my closet and letting the FLou shine agianst the white paint .

first off, a 20 watt floro is not nearly enough light unless you had it strapped to the stem. if all you have is the one 20watt and 150 watt i would say put the hps about 8 in. above the plant and the floro on one side of the plant facing the white paint for reflection like you said. water a few times a day. how tall is it by the way? good luck growing. hope this helps.

thanx alot man i needed 2 know that my flou wasnt pulling that many watts so i figured the hps was the best way 2 go. but what kind of housing do i need for it. i tried putting it in a regular socket and i got shit. so any advice would be for the best. my seedling is only about 3" high but it has 4 leaves on it out the dirt. so i figured i can still change lights without comprimising. what do u think?????? :cool: :o

to fire up that bulb,you'll need a dedicated set-up,a mogul socket,and a ballast matching the watt out put of the bulb....bonbon
